At Strike back we believe every women has a right to go about her daily life without fear of harassment, intimidation or threat of violence.
Unfortunately in the current world we live in, this isn't always the case.
The latest release of findings from the Crime Survey for England & Wales stated that more than 510,000 women experienced some type of sexual assault in the last year.
According to the official analysis of violent crime figures, 1 in 5 females in England & Wales have experienced some type of sexual assault since the age of 16.
This serves as a sobering reminder that assault and sexual assault against women can and does happen in real life.
It can happen in a work setting, on the street, on your way home from a night out or even on your way to and from school or college.

So what can you do?

Well to start with, just learning self defence will increase your chances of not being attacked in the first place! It is a well known fact that predators identify their potential victims from non verbal signals such as posture, body language and awareness of environment. All cues and attributes that increase a persons likelihood of being targeted by a violent criminal.
